The eggbutt snaffle has fixed, oval shaped rings offering a consistent contact. The double jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker action of a single joint, preventing the bit from hitting the top of the mouth and gives the rider independant control over each side of the mouth. The copper half moon promotes salivation, and gives the tongue a little extra space for easy swallowing.
