Purpose
This series of electromagnetic poweroff brakes is a type of small and lightweight motor mainly used for micro motor servo motor stepper motor electric forklift motor etc, which is energized by electromagnetic suction and when power is cut off, the spring is pressurized to achieve friction braking. Suitable for metallurgical, construction, chemical, food, machine tools, packaging, stage, elevator, ship and other machinery, achieving fast parking, accurate positioning, safe braking and other purposes.
This series of brakes consists of a magnetic yoke, excitation coil, spring, brake disc, armature, spline sleeve, manual release device, etc. Installed at the rear end of the motor, adjust the installation screws to bring the air gap to the specified value; The spline sleeve is fixed on the shaft, and the brake disc can slide axially on the spline sleeve, generating braking torque during braking.
When the coil of the brake is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field, and the armature is attracted to the magnetic yoke by the magnetic force. The armature and the brake disc detach, and the brake disc is rotated normally by the motor shaft; When the coil loses power, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature is pushed towards the brake disc by the force of the spring, generating frictional torque and braking.
Pulling the "manual release device" or tightening the "screw release device" can also release the armature, facilitating the installation and adjustment of the equipment.
Usage conditions
This series of brakes can operate reliably under the following conditions
1. Working under dry conditions;
2. There is no explosion hazard in the surrounding medium, and there are no gases or conductive dust that are sufficient to corrode metals and damage insulation;
3. The working environment temperature is -40~+150 , and the surface of the friction plate and armature must not have oil stains and must be kept clean;
4. The insulation level is B, the protection level is IP23, and the voltage fluctuation range does not exceed+5% and -15%;
5. The working air gap shall not exceed the maximum working air gap, and the main and driven sides of the brake shall be fixed, without axial displacement;
6. Installation method: Axial vertical installation, the installation of the brake must ensure that the coaxiality is not greater than 0.1mm;
7. Working mode: intermittent work, continuous work.
