Product structure and working principle
This series of brakes is composed of a magnetic yoke, an excitation coil, a spring, a brake disc, an armature, a spline sleeve, a manual release device, etc. Install on the rear cover of the motor (or on the flange of the equipment), adjust the mounting screw to make the air gap to the specified value; The spline sleeve is fixed to the shaft, and the brake disc slides axially on the spline sleeve, generating braking when braking.
When the coil of the brake is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field, the armature is attracted to the yoke by the magnetic force, and the armature is disengaged from the brake disc, at which time the brake disc is carried by the motor shaft to rotate normally; When the coil is de-energized, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature is pushed towards the brake disc by the force of the spring, generating frictional and braking.
Flipping the "manual release device" or tightening the "screw release device" can also release the armature, which is convenient for the installation and adjustment of the equipment.
