This lens is used for general examination of the fundus using “Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope (BIO)”. This provides a high resolution image of the retina in the OPD or the operating room. A 45 degree field of view helps in vizualization upto the mid peripheral region. A dynamic examination with patients eye movements helps in vizualization of the peripheral retina as well. A working distance of 50mm makes lens manipulation very easy for the user.
