Fuel Injection Pump Installation:
1.For engines of different model years, their fuel pumps may look similar but have different internal specifications. Part numbers that do not match are absolutely not interchangeable. Incorrect installation can lead to vehicle failure to start, damage to the fuel system.
2.Before installation, the engine crankshaft must be precisely rotated to Top Dead Center (TDC) for cylinder No.1. The timing marks between the injection pump and the engine must be strictly aligned.
3.All components, fuel line connections, and the working environment must be absolutely clean. Fuel lines must be blown out before connection, and fuel must be filtered.
4.The bolts securing the pump body and the nuts for high-pressure fuel lines must be tightened using a torque wrench. Over- or under-tightening can cause leaks, damage, or timing drift during operation.
5.After installation, all air must be completely bled from the low-pressure fuel lines, before attempting to start the engine. Never force-start the engine without bleeding.
