Ultra-Shear's V-Groove Finger Grip Bits cut a smooth, comfortable finger grip along any straight or curved edge. A ball-bearing pilot controls the cutting depth, keeping the profile consistent on inside and outside curves as well as straight edges. Three sizes cover cutting and serving boards from 3/4" to over 2" thick, and all are suitable for routing a groove around the full perimeter or creating stopped grips at the board ends.

The smallest 1/4" shank bit has a 3/8" cutting height for boards from 3/4" to 1-1/4". The medium 1/4" shank bit has a 9/16" cutting height for boards from 1" to 1-1/2". The large 1/2" shank bit has a maximum cutting height of 13/16" for boards from 1" to over 2". Overlapping ranges give you multiple profile choices to complement your board's shape and style.

The largest bit offers three profiles in one. It includes interchangeable bearings providing cutting heights of 13/16", 9/16" and 7/16". Changing bearings is simple—just loosen the set screw on the retaining collar and slide the bearing assembly off.
