After hundreds of hours of engineering and clinical testing, we have created an X-ray marker holder that works for different types of rectangular X-ray markers! The invention utilizes a unique sliding mechanism so that markers can easily be slid into and removed from the holder. The sliding mechanism utilizes a unique tensioning system that allows X-ray markers to slide into the holder with a secure fit. Unlike an ID badge, the technologist may only need to touch the holder when using the X-ray markers, reducing the spreading of germs and bacteria. Furthermore, the design of the holder may allow the double-sided tape on the back of the marker to be covered without attaching the marker to another object. This may prevent the accumulation of dirt, lint, and microorganisms, while also avoiding the wear and tear caused by removing an attached marker. Please note that due to the availability of material and differences in lot colors, if you order another unit of the same color, the color may vary slightly from your original purchase. The XR Marker Parker will be shipped assembled for a 1" wide marker, and with a kit of parts for all the other sizes it will accomodate. To fit markers of different sizes, refer to the "Instructions" tab on our website. The XR Marker Parker currently accommodates 1", down to 9/16" wide markers in 1/16" increments, and thicknesses from 1/8" to 1/4". There are also 2 sets of marker tensioners that accommodate thin markers with rounded edges like 3/4" and 5/8" aluminum backed markers.
