  • PRODUCT FEATURES: 3M Acrylic Foam Automotive Attachment Tape are dark gray, double-coated tapes with very good initial and excellent final tack for low and medium energy surfaces. The ZX adhesive - which is anchored on both sides of the tape - can be used without adhesion promoters or surface pre-treatments on difficult-to-bond plastics, such as TPO/PP/EPDM and on medium-energy plastics such as ABS and automotive paints.The robust foam core guarantees very good wetting and adaptation to the surface geometry of add-on parts such as trim strips and parking sensors. the adhesive tape is characterised by very good internal strength and excellent long-term stability in hot and cold conditions.
  • RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS: 3M double-sided Acrylic foam adhesive tape can be used for Automotive Glass Attachment, Automotive Exterior Attachment .Such as Sunroof Seals, Attaching window visors, pillar garnishes, nested components. Sensor bonding. Small side body moldings (PP). Claddings, body side moldings, rocker panels, running boards, wheel flares (TPO).ABS nameplates. Chrome nameplate applications . Fastening of rigid add-on parts, such as spoilers, sills, aerial housings, roof rails and wheel arch extensions, etc. 3M Heavy Duty Automotive Primerless Adhesive : Fast, clean and cost-effective application. Safe application over the service life of a vehicle.
  • Widely Use: Also Ideal for both home and industrial use. This Very High Bonding tape can be used for packaging,sealing, mounting and repairing. This double sided tape works extremely well on smooth surfaces and widely used for LED strip lights, wall decor, picture holding, window vents,address plaques, signs, emblem, mirrors, hangers, tooth brush holder, photo frames, power strip,home & office decorations. Not recommended on wallpapers, fabrics, textured walls, bricks, and other rough or non-stick surfaces.
  • INSTALLATION GUIDE: 1, Clean surface. Remove all contaminants so that the bonding surface is free of dust, mould release, condensation, etc. 2, Appropriate pressurization. Pressure is needed to provide intimate contact between the tape and bonding surface. 3M recommends 15 psi momentary pressure on the bond line. This is a guideline 3, Avoid air entrapment. Tape should be laminated and pressurized in one operation; from one end to the other. 4, Avoid excessive tape stretch. During tape application, do not exceed 4% stretch. Stretch can be influenced by tension, speed and roller diameter. 5, Appropriate temperature. Optimum component and 3M tape application temperature is 60°F to 110°F.
