  • Featuring a robust design and construction, all three adapters include an inline, barbed connection for a 1⁄4 in. internal diameter hose.
  • These adapters form an airtight seal in the neck of a vehicle's power steering pump allowing for air evacuation.
  • Designed to function with Mityvac hand pump models MV8000 and MV8500 as well as most other brands of hand-vacuum pumps.
  • The MVA665 is available separately and can be interchanged with the inline connector on MVA661 and MVA662 for applications with limited overhead access.

Description

Automotive power steering systems have a tendency to trap air in components and lines, causing erratic steering, pump noise and potential damage to critical parts. Mityvac MVA660, MVA661 and MVA662 power steering adapters can help eliminate trapped air following repairs or fluid changes. The adapters are available individually or can be purchased as a set in the MVA670 kit.
