The InLine USB PCIe card expands compatible computer systems by four USB 3.2 Gen.1 ports. The combination of two internal and two external USB ports allows you to implement different device arrangements inside and outside the case. The four ports are suitable for external SSDs, hard drives, cameras, audio interfaces or other USB peripherals with high data volume. Each USB 3.2 Gen.1 port works with its own bandwidth of up to 5 Gb/s. This allows multiple devices to be used in parallel for data-intensive applications.
The NEC/Renesas uPD720202 host controller supports USB 3.2 Gen.1 as well as USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Hot-swapping allows compatible USB devices to be connected or disconnected on the go. The additional 4-pin power connector supports the power supply of connected USB devices via the PC system. The included low-profile bracket extends the installation options in appropriately designed compact housings.
