With the InLine PCIe x1 to 2x PCI 32-bit interface card, you can expand modern computers with two classic PCI slots. The system consists of a PCIe main card with ASMedia ASM1083 bridge chip and an additional card that is connected via a 60 cm cable. This makes it ideal for reusing legacy but functionally relevant PCI expansion cards – for example in industrial PCs, test systems or special applications where PCIe is not a replacement.
The card is driverless and is compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including all Windows versions from XP and Linux kernel from version 2.4. The power is supplied via a standardized SATA 15-pin connector, which allows easy integration into existing setups. The PCI signals are reliably transmitted through the connection cable to the additional card, on which two 32-bit slots are available.
Whether in professional environments or ambitious self-building: This solution offers a high-quality and durable way to continue using proven PCI hardware – without compromising on system update.
