The InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 extender allows you to extend USB signals via a single RJ45 copper cable with a range of up to 100 m. The system consists of a main unit as a transmitter and a receiver and operates as a fixed point-to-point connection without integration into active network components. With a maximum data rate of up to 5 Gb/s, the extender supports Isochronous, Bulk and Interrupt USB transfer modes and is suitable for high-performance applications. In addition, RS-232 control signals and FSYNC signals with 5 V are transmitted transparently. The signals are not evaluated or influenced.

The power supply can be either via the supplied external power supply or via Power over Cable. The PoC function works bi-directional with 24 V and a maximum power of 40 W. This means that the supply of one device unit is sufficient. Four USB ports are available on the receiver. USB port 1 and 2 deliver up to 5V / 1.5A. USB port 3 and 4 deliver up to 5V / 1.0A.
