The LM Gateway103-IoTlite is a data acquisition gateway built on a robust hardware platform and a complete software kernel. It offers one RS-485 serial port and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. The gateway comes pre-embedded with data acquisition drivers such as Modbus, BACnet, and DLT645, and supports the integration of custom private protocol drivers. It can function as a Modbus RTU/TCP server to provide external data access, while using MQTT or HTTP to communicate with cloud platforms. The gateway also supports connection as an MQTT client. Data points are pushed to the cloud via a publish-subscribe mechanism, allowing the cloud to read from and write to field devices through the gateway. Users can create mission plans that assign specific values to multiple points based on the day of the week and time period. It is recommended to calibrate the gateway time before using the scheduling feature. The device supports expression-based calculations—for example, editing an expression such as A/100 to scale down a value, or A+0.5 to apply an offset. On the Alarms and Events page, users can configure trigger conditions. An event is triggered when conditions are met and released when the state changes from satisfied to unsatisfied. The built-in JavaScript editor allows users to implement custom logic control through script editing.
