Tender Gentle's composite dressing is comfortable and protects the skin while it's healing.
The gauze pads are 6x6, sterile for wound care, and individually wrapped. They are also waterproof, so they can be worn in the shower.
These adhesive gauze pads have 3 layers. The first is a moderately absorbent foam pad for secreting wounds. The pad has a low-adherence to lower the risk of aggravating the wound.
The second layer of the island bandages protects the wound while allowing adequate airflow. Third, non-woven tape is semi-transparent and secures the dressing to the skin to maintain a moist wound environment during the healing process.
There are 10 island dressing 6x6 bandages for wounds per box. They can be used with topicals.
