Berg, a professional musician, also made reeds in London. He introduced ebonite mouthpieces for clarinet and saxophone, later expanding to stainless steel for durability. Though Berg passed in 1972, his legacy endures. Today, Berg Larsen offers diverse mouthpiece materials and styles, renowned for handcrafted saxophone pieces. Each undergoes ten machining processes, meticulously finished and inspected for quality. They provide a wide range of tip openings to suit all players.
