NOTE: Like all passive mechanical switches, a “pop” may occur during switching due to potential DC offset between connected devices, which is normal and can be mitigated by briefly muting your amplifier.
Important Note on Switching:
A “pop” sound can sometimes be heard when switching. This is a normal characteristic of passive mechanical audio switches and is not a defect. It is caused by a DC potential difference between the connected equipment. For a silent switch, we recommend muting the amplifier's volume before toggling the A/B switch.
