Materials needed (makes 1 mug rug): 7in X 7in base piece, 7in X 10-1/2in backing piece, (4) 2in X 7in strips, 7in X 10-1/2in double sided fusible foam or fusible batting, 2-1/2in x wof strip for binding. Laser precut applique with notions or cut each applique per fabrics: 7in x 11/16in ric rac. Thread to match fabric, black fine tip permanent marker, blush for cheeks or red color pencil, white paint writer (can be purchased at any craft store).
