Description

The F4U fighter jet was developed by the American Walt Corporation and served in the US military from World War II to the Korean War. On the Pacific front of World War II, the F4U, along with the F6F, were the main forces of the US Navy and became strong rivals to Japanese fighter jets. After the war, according to the statistics of the US Navy, the downing ratio of the F4U was 11:1, meaning that for every 11 enemy aircraft shot down, only one was shot down, achieving an impressive record.
