Special Features

  • ROBOT ADD-ONS. Adding a forklift, conveyor, sorter, or other linear-motion components is made simple with this pack. Create linear motion for robots and vehicles by converting rotational motion.
  • RACK GEARS. The rack gears — used individually or laid end to end — are attached to a TETRIX channel. The slide blocks and pinion gear go onto another channel that slides across the rack gears when powered by gears and a DC motor.
  • APPLICATION. The Rack and Pinion Linear Slide Pack allows for multiple applications, including extending robot arms and creating lifting motions. The included inspiration card shows examples of additional uses for mounting these parts.
  • INCLUDED PARTS. This pack comes with four GF nylon rack gears, four GF nylon slide blocks, and an aluminum 28-tooth pinion gear.
  • SPECS. The outside diameter of the pinion gear measures at 20.8 mm. Each full slide weighs 99.9 grams.

Description

Adding a forklift, conveyor, sorter, or other linear-motion component to robots is made simple with this pack. The rack gears – used individually or laid end to end – are attached to a TETRIX® Channel. The slide blocks and pinion gear go onto another channel that slides across the rack gears when powered by gears and a DC motor with motor mount, sold separately. Compatible with TETRIX MAX AND PRIME.
